Description:
A good Fine or better 1884 farthing bronze coin from the United Kingdom. The coin displays Queen Victoria's mature bust with wreath in her hair facing left on the obverse and Britannia seated and facing right with a ship and a lighthouse at her feet on the reverse. The coin has the words "VOCTORIA: D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D" surrounding the queen's head on the obverse. The reverse is marked "FARTHING" surrounding the head of the seated Britannia and the date 1884 under her. Early British coins such as these are gradually getting more difficult to find.

Condition:
I would grade this coin as a good fine or better as you can see and read most of the details. The coin has wear commensurate with its age and circulated status, is nicely toned and has great eye appeal. It does have some spots of minor oxidation but is problem free otherwise.
