"1939 NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR" SERVING TRAY
- 1939 N.Y.W.F. 17.75" x 11.5". Orange & blue litho on tin.
Beautifully stylized "Trylon & Perisphere" design in classic art deco splendor.
The iconic Trylon & Perisphere structures were the modernistic symbols of the fair. Orange & blue were the standard colors of this fair.
This scarce souvenir has outstanding visual appeal.
Condition is considered FAIR with miscellaneous surface/stain/edge wear. Misc. paint scuffing, crazing, & discoloration with moderate surface/edge oxidation, mainly visible on non-graphic reverse side. Imagery is still bold & attractive.
Overall, despite defects, we feel this is still a very displayable example by most standards (see photos).
