  • Condition: Very nice torqometer from Snapon. This is a 1/2" 250 pound torq wrench. It is 23 3/4" long and in very good shape. The battery compartment is not in good shape and the light didn't light. The contact on one side is corroded off. It probably could be cleaned and a new contact soldered on. Or just use it during the day. The chrome is in good condition with some scuffs and scratches. The lens on the adjustable meter is in very good condition. Snap on makes some of the highest quality mechanics tools of any mfg.

    Description

    This is a very nice Snap-On 1/2" 0-250 pound torq wrench. It is used and was last calibrated 3/29/95. I purchased it from an Estate sale of an machine shop owner. This was his personal one as his hobby was automotive and engine repair. The chrome looks great with just a few scuffs and scratches. The lens is in very good condition (see photos). The battery compartment has some issues. I tried a battery but the one contact is broken and would need repair if you wanted it to work. I'm sure you can use it without a light. Snapon is a great mfg. of very high quality tools. It is very heavy duty and 24" long. There is a hollow handle for added leverage.
